但很多自認女權的人只是爭取前者,對後者則會輸打贏要,這是女權二字變成很令人不齒的原因。跟它的學術定義沒甚麼關係。

就像「支那」本來也只是音譯沒什麼特別意思的,但日本人用得衰,搞搞下中國人一聽到支那兩字就會很厭惡了。

Eh, 我還是覺得是只是定義不同,沒關係不同也不是什麼壞事。我知道很多人不這樣想,但在我腦子裡 feminism=女性主義=女權=性別平等=男女平等,只是在重男輕女的社會裡會用「爭取女性權益」來統稱,但女權兩字在中文裡如果負面意義越來越重,我以後可以考慮用其他字代替(例如性別平等)。
「支那」二字,如果對自己國家夠有自信,中國人要回頭反駁「對我就是支那但支那比你國力還強你丟不丟臉?」造成的殺傷力搞不好還比較小。
例如 nigger/Negro 這些很髒的污衊字眼好了,也越來越多黑人…
